FAWEZI supported our Shamva project schools this past week to host stakeholder meetings for the school communities. Our five project schools in Shamva are Mupfure Primary, Mupfure Secondary, Mutumba Primary, Mutumba Secondary, and Madziwa Rural Primary. The schools’ stakeholder meetings took place between the 11th to the 13th of November, 2019. FAWEZI supported the schools with budgets to hold the meetings so that they raise resources to enhance addressing School-Related Gender-Based Violence. The five schools got a variety of donations, including resources to build toilets for disabled students. These stakeholder meetings were held under the project “School Related Gender-Based Violence-Pilot Initiative-Whole School Approach,” which FAWEZI runs in partnership with the UN Girls Education Initiative.
