From the 28^th of September to the 2^nd of October FAWEZI rolled out the Tuseme/Speak out Girls Empowerment model to the five project schools in the Rushinga District. We used theater performances to help the girls and boys to identify challenges that hinder their academic performance and also come up with solutions to them. We set up Tuseme clubs in the schools and also shared information and distributed fliers on COVID-19 . The schools are Kasenzi primary and Secondary, Katoni , Makuni and Rusambo Secondary Schools. This was under the project -‘Prevention and Social Norms to end Violence against Girls and Women –Spotlight Initiative’.
