Dear FAWEZI Community,
I hope this message finds you well. As we enter the months of October to December 2023, I am delighted to share with you the latest updates and achievements of the Forum for African Women Educationalists – Zimbabwe Chapter (FAWEZI).

In this edition of our Quarterly Newsletter, we aim to highlight the incredible work that FAWEZI has been doing to promote gender equality and empower girls and women in Zimbabwe. Through our various programs and initiatives, we continue to strive towards creating an inclusive and enabling environment for girls to access quality education.

Over the past few months, FAWEZI has been actively engaged in advocating for girls’ education and addressing the challenges they face. We have been working closely with our partners, stakeholders, and the government to ensure that every girl in Zimbabwe has equal opportunities to learn and thrive. Through our advocacy efforts, we have been able to raise awareness about the importance of gender-responsive education policies and the need to eliminate barriers that hinder girls’ access to education.

Furthermore, FAWEZI has been implementing innovative projects that aim to enhance the quality of education for girls. Our programs focus on improving teaching and learning methods, promoting STEM education, providing mentorship and career guidance, and addressing issues of gender-based violence in schools. We believe that by addressing these critical areas, we can create an enabling environment that empowers girls to reach their full potential.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners who have contributed immensely to the success of our programs. Your unwavering commitment and passion for girls’ education have been instrumental in driving positive change in our communities.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to the FAWEZI community for your continued support and belief in our mission. Your contributions, whether big or small, have made a significant impact on the lives of countless girls and women in Zimbabwe. Together, we are making a difference.
