The Forum for African Women Educationalists – Zimbabwe Chapter (FAWEZI) is one of the 33
National Chapters in Africa affiliated to the FAWE Africa network. FAWE is a Pan-African non
governmental organization founded in 1992 and based in Nairobi, Kenya. FAWEZI is a Private
Voluntary Organization. FAWEZI envisions an inclusive society where gender disparities in education are eliminated and girls and women are empowered for socio-economic transformation. FAWEZI is committed to empower girls and women through quality education and training to give them the necessary skills, competencies, and values to be productive members of their societies..
FAWEZI is seeking applications for the following position:
Field Officer

Overall Duties
The Field Officer is responsible for supporting the program implementation, data collection and community engagement in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the implementation of program activities, including training, community mobilization, and data collection.
Collecting and managing data, including conducting surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
Building and maintaining relationships with program participants, community leaders, local government officials, and other stakeholders.
Supporting monitoring and evaluation activities, including tracking program progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Preparing and submitting reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Supporting logistics and administrative tasks, including arranging travel, accommodations, and meetings.
Qualifications, skills and experience required
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Social Sciences, Education,
A Diploma or certificate Project Management is an added advantage.
Minimum 2-3 Years of Experience: Proven experience in program implementation, data collection, and community engagement.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of the Education system in Zimbabwe which include Primary, Secondary and tertiary levels.
The candidate should have knowledge on health which includes SRHR issues
The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including community members, local leaders, and program staff.Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop creative solutions. He/she should have the capacity to work in a dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
The candidate should be Proficient in local languages and English
