Forum for African Women Educationalists Zimbabwe (FAWEZI) is a membership-based organization that was launched in March 1998 and registered as a welfare organization in terms of subsection (5) of section 9 of the Welfare Organizations (Chapter 93) in 1999, Registration No: W/O: PVO: 11/99. FAWEZI was recently registered as a Private Voluntary Organisation in terms of subsection (5) of section 9 of the Private Voluntary Organisation Act (Chapter 17:05), Registration No. PVO 150/23. FAWEZI’s vision is that of an inclusive society in which all gender disparities in education are eliminated and girls and women are holistically empowered for socio-economic transformation. Its mission is to provide opportunities for girls and women to develop skills, competencies, and values to make them productive members of society. FAWEZI is affiliated with the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE). FAWE is a membership-based pan-African Non-Governmental Organisation established in 1992 in Kenya, operating through 34 National Chapters to promote girls’ and women’s education. FAWE’s vision is that of an equitable and inclusive society where all African girls and women are thriving.

Office Support Assistant

Overall Duties
The candidate will safely operate vehicles, help ensure operational effectiveness in support of high-quality programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving FAWEZI and Hired vehicles to transport staff, documents, and other materials as required. Ensuring the vehicle is serviced according to schedules and is always kept clean.
Maintaining the office environment, including cleaning, dusting, and ensuring the office is tidy and organised.
Delivering and collecting documents, packages, and other materials from various locations.
Providing general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
Assisting with logistical arrangements, including booking travel and accommodations, and arranging meetings and events.
Monitoring and replenishing office supplies, including stationery, toiletries, and other essentials.
Maintaining accurate records and reports, including vehicle logs, fuel consumption, and other relevant documentation.
Perform other duties as required, including supporting special projects and events.
Qualifications, skills, and experience required
5 O’levels including English language
Valid driver’s class 4 license with defensive driving as an added advantage
7 years Driving Experience
Basic administrative and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability
