Education Coalition of Zimbabwe

FAWEZI was elected the National Chairperson of the Education Coalition of Zimbabwe (ECOZI) National Management Committee (NMC) for the term of 2 years.

The other members of the committee are Zimbabwe National Council for the Welfare of Children (ZNCWC), Students Solidarity Trust (SST), Disabled Women Support Organisation (DWSO), Chiedza Child Care, College Lecturers of Zimbabwe (COLAZ), SAVE the Children, Alight Zimbabwe- (Plan International Alumni) and Zimbabwe Teachers Association (ZIMTA).The nomination comes at an opportune moment where a lot of national and regional discussions are being held to shape the post 2015 agenda. It is also pleasing to note that FAWE has signed an MOU with the Africa Network Campaign on Education For All (ANCEFA) where ECOZI is an affiliate. This strengthens the two organizations advocacy work and engagement with the government and other education stakeholders.
