FAWEZI participated in the launch of the Education Coalition of Zimbabwe’s (ECOZI) 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, held under the theme, “Strengthening Voices, Shaping Policies, Transforming Education.” The event marked an important step in advancing collective efforts to build a more inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education system in Zimbabwe.

The launch brought together government officials, civil society organizations, development partners, and education stakeholders, underscoring the power of collaboration in shaping education policy and driving sustainable sector-wide transformation. Officiating as Guest of Honour, Hon. Professor Torerai Moyo, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, highlighted the critical role of strategic partnerships and coordinated action in ensuring quality education for every learner.

FAWEZI Executive Director, Ms. L. Madyirapanze, who also serves as Chairperson of the ECOZI Executive Committee, emphasized the need for collective action to address persistent education challenges and to expand access to inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for all, regardless of background.
