FAWEZI Strengthens Strategic Storytelling at the FAWE/Mastercard Foundation Phase II Communications Bootcamp in Addis Ababa
The Forum for African Women Educationalists Zimbabwe Chapter (FAWEZI) is participating in the FAWE/Mastercard Foundation Phase II Strategic Communication and Storytelling Bootcamp currently underway in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Representing FAWEZI are Communication and Advocacy Officer Menard Ziko and FAWE Alumni Chairperson Wendy Muzite.
Convened under the theme, “Amplify to Influence,” the Bootcamp has brought together communication focal points, alumni representatives, and regional teams from ten African countries. The gathering is designed to strengthen strategic communication, storytelling, media engagement, and continental coordination in order to enhance the visibility and impact of the FAWE/Mastercard Foundation Phase II Programme.
A key focus of the Bootcamp is the meaningful integration of alumni as ambassadors of impact, advocacy, and sustainability, recognizing their critical role in advancing the programme’s vision and extending its reach across communities and institutions.
The engagement provides a valuable platform for shared learning, collaboration, and the co-creation of innovative communication approaches that elevate transformative education pathways. By amplifying the voices of scholars and alumni alike, the Bootcamp seeks to strengthen influence and drive positive change at both national and continental levels, further advancing FAWE’s commitment to equitable and inclusive education across Africa.
