FAWEZI Advocates for Student Well-Being at Bindura University Mental Health Expo
FAWEZI joined the Culture and Mental Health Exposition at Bindura University of Science Education to advocate for mental health awareness and showcase the empowering impact of the TUSEME model for students.
At the exposition, FAWEZI presented on mental health awareness and highlighted the transformative impact of the TUSEME model. Through TUSEME, students are provided with safe and inclusive spaces to speak out, express themselves, raise concerns, and remain aware of their surroundings. Through encouraging meaningful dialogue and active participation, the approach nurtures confidence, resilience, and supportive peer networks that are essential for positive mental health outcomes.
The event also brought together traditional leaders from Mashonaland Central Province and organizations including UNESCO and local partners dedicated to youth well-being. Their collective presence underscored the importance of collaborative action in creating inclusive, supportive, and mentally healthy environments where young people can thrive academically and socially.
FAWEZI remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting holistic education and well-being, advancing innovative approaches that empower learners and strengthen communities across Zimbabwe.
