CALL FOR Applications: TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (TVET) FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2027
The Forum for African Women Educationalists Zimbabwe (FAWEZI), with support from FAWE and the Mastercard Foundation, invites applications for Zimbabwe’s Cohort 2 of the FAWE/Mastercard Foundation Phase II Programme TVET Bursary. There are 200 bursaries available (80% female and 20% male) for programme participants interested in pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related programmes at selected Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions in Zimbabwe. The programme will prioritise participants facing the highest social and economic barriers, with 5-15% of them being persons with disability, internally displaced people and refugees.
Eligibility Criteria for TVET Bursaries at FAWE Zimbabwe
Be aged between 15–25 years at the time of application.
Recent secondary school graduates are mostly encouraged to apply.
Applicants should have sat for their Ordinary or Advanced Level examinations in schools in any of Zimbabwe’s ten provinces.
The applicant must not be a current beneficiary of any other bursary or scholarship programme.
Applicants with disabilities, special needs, internally displaced persons, refugees, individuals infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, and orphans (partial or total) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants must be enrolling for 2-to-3-year courses in STEM fields.
Applicants must be first-time TVET students. Individuals who already hold a qualification from any TVET institution are not eligible to apply.
Applicants should meet the entry requirements for TVET institutions and be applying for a STEM-related programme at one of the following institutions: Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Kwekwe Polytechnics and the Belvedere Technical Teachers College

Application forms are free. No fees, facilitation charges, or intermediaries are required at any stage of the process.
Any false information, misrepresentation, incomplete submission, or attempts to influence the process will result in immediate disqualification or termination from the programme.
All applications will be verified, including home visits for shortlisted candidates.
The applicant must be applying for a STEM-related programme at the institutions stated above.
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
FAWEZI upholds a zero-tolerance policy on child abuse, sexual exploitation, and harassment by employees, volunteers, service providers, partners, and all persons involved in programme delivery.
Applicants must submit only one application using one method (either online OR hard copy) and not BOTH.
Submission of multiple applications (e.g., both online and hard copy) will result in automatic disqualification.
